Between 15 (conservative) to 40 hours would be my guess depending on what temp you are cooking at. Regardless, even if we go with the lowest number of 15 hours, you are probably not going to leave it unattended for that long anyway, so, I wouldn't worry about running out of pellets.
While I usually don't change pellets often, I do fill the hopper with just enough pellets for a cook. That way, it's almost always empty before the next cook.
Exactly! It is so much easier to just scrape everything off of the drip pan than dealing with messy/sticky foil. Plus, I don't want any aluminum or teflon exposure.
It seems like a very easy solution to have power anywhere! :D
EDIT: It looks like my attempt at this joke was very horrible. :D. I meant to say that I could power my 1250 anywhere with this setup. Haha.
Pellet grills like the ones built by LoneStarGrillz allow for custom programming. I am aware that this feature has to do with the FireBoard controller, however, wouldn't this technically be possible via the app? Since the app is connected to the grill via WiFi, I don't see why we couldn't do...
