Anyone know what size bulb is in the interior light? Is it something I could get at the auto parts store?

Just got back from Costco with my brisket. It’s 11.51lbs. The goal is to eat at noon on Saturday. If I have it on the RT-680 at 5pm Friday am I giving myself enough time?

I was curious if anyone uses something like an a-maze-n smoke tube to get extra smoke in their pit?

It’s not a huge issue, as will probably just use the temp probe that connects to the same unit as my meat probe. Plus after a few cooks I think I’ll learn the variance and account for it when setting the temp. I was curious if anyone else has noticed the difference and if it’s more or less standard.

How much does your smoker temp vary based on the readout and what it is nearer the cooking grate? Currently my RT680 is showing 265, but my temp probe is reading 225 about one inch above the grates in the center of smoker.

Hello from North DFW Texas. Got a RT-680 from a neighbor who was throwing it out because “the electrical was shot”. I think he was just saying that because he wanted a new smoker, because I got it up and running. Held at 275 for a bit then at 400 for a bit. Looking forward to Rec Teq and pellet...
