Why the name change to Rec TeQ?

Did they just change the name or is it an "August fools" joke?
I just used the app yesterday and it didn't look like this.

I must have missed something. Anyone know why the changed the spelling from Rec Tec to Rec Teq? Also see they have a picture of a cooler now but I couldn't find it listed on their website. RECTEQ ICER COOLER.

Recteq does appear to be a recent trademark by Rec Tex Industries LLC

Maybe the update included something to help folks connect to Wifi with cell phones on 5 GHz. But I doubt it. Probably hardware in the control panel would have to be updated. Will try later on when I fire her up for burn in.

You could always start and run the grill using the app on your phone when connected to a 5GHz wifi, it's the initial connection the grill needs must and will always be the 2.4GHz.

One of the co-founders, Ron Cundy, is an attorney. I'd expect they took appropriate measures when starting the company, but things can change and emerge over time.
