Huh! “Wait for another update?” Are they having problems with the app and doing some emergency updates”Customer support is no help, said I would have to wait for another update. has this happened to any of you?
yep, waited 2 months for tech support, they were no help then the last update fixed the issue but took away the remote start feature ditched the app and now use the smartlife app.Customer support is no help, said I would have to wait for another update. has this happened to any of you?
I did that and it was no help. Their CS has went in the toiletHuh! “Wait for another update?” Are they having problems with the app and doing some emergency updates”
Personally, I would call RT again and hope to get a different customer service person. Or, I would call and ask for a manager or one of the owners.
“Wait for another update” is certainly not an appropriate response unless their servers are down and they are frantically trying to get them back up.
This was likely the removal of remote start functionality. Apparently they removed Functionality all together Maybe a wristband (as in the hospital) and asking themselves repeatedly WTF are we reming out of the code?Customer support is no help, said I would have to wait for another update. has this happened to any of you?
yep, C/S went in the toilet. went rounds with them just for them to blame it somehow on my setup that has not changed then they ditched remote startup so I ditched them. I now not only have remote start back but I also have voice control. oh did I mention that C/S made me buy an updated controller I did not need?Customer support is no help, said I would have to wait for another update. has this happened to any of you?
yes, I had hoped that Ray would have had more integrity. guess good things dont last anymore. glad I got in on it well it was there. still think the product is good for the most part but when C/S takes a hit the product usually followsSeems RecTeq has gone the way of so many acquired small companies. Venture capital “partners” or straight up acquisition is followed by becoming more “profitable” by cutting support and/or quality.
