RT-1070 Slope?

Is it just me or is the slope of the drip tray not steep enough? If I try to use the foil for a second cook, it pools way too much grease.

Mine does the same, even for the 1st cook. I suppose it'd work better without the foil if it bothers you enough to try it.

NEVER MIND, I just noticed you are talking a 1070, which I know nothing about. It'd help if you add the smoker type to your profile.

I originally tried a high temp silicone mat and was loving it, but it looked like it was gonna start breaking down so I began using the foil. May try it a few times without anything and see what the cleanup is like afterwards.

Why I don’t use foil. Just scrape it with wide putty knife after cool down. Drip tray does not mind.
