Pork Butt yesterday and Tamales

Cooked a pork butt yesterday for some pulled pork and to make some tamales.

I made some from the brisket last week and with some of this pork butt. They are amazing

I made Tamales.... once. I just get them all done from the Mexican Grocery store now.

They are time consuming, but a good tamale is hard to beat; one of my favorites.

Happy New Year. You broke the #1 rule of southern cooking. Never let the Northerners know abut molasses. It will throw the balance of the planet into a frenzy. lol.

True. I think they make you sign a non-disclosure agreement when you cross back north of the Mason-Dixon line, as an honorary transplant, haha. Happy New Year!
