Hello, fellow Req -Teqies.

Had my 590 for about a year now and when it was working, it was awesome.

Pretty sure some pellets got wet and created a helluva jam. Gonna tear into it soon, fix it and get back to smoking!

Yes, would love to know how they got wet. I have mine on a large covered porch and cover them when not in use. That being said I live in Georgia where the humidity can get up there.
Does anyone take their pellets out or just leave in.

I live in Charleston S.C. where the humidity is unbearable at times.

I keep it covered with a Rec Tec cover.

Cleared out all the pellets and as much of the jammed debris as possible. Still a no go.

Gonna have to take the auger out. I can hear it trying to turn but the jam is massive.

I think because of the extreme humidity, I will be removing the pellets after every cook.

Any tutorials on how to get the auger out??

Try Youtube. I had to replace the fan on my RT-680 a few years back and a part of that job was removing the auger and found several Youtube vids that walked you through the process. As you can imagine there isn't a lot of room to work but it wasn't a horrible job.
