OMG is all I can say about this homemade bacon. It is so good. Got 6lb belly from my local butcher. Cut in two 3lb slabs. Followed amazingribs.com recipe from Meathead. It was so easy and it’s so delicious. Cured for 5.5 days and smoked on low for 3 hours and then 225 until it hit 150 internal temp. If you haven’t tried it, give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.
