Its been a while. I have been lookin at Rectec grills for approx 8 years...Cooked my first brisket in 2009 for my house warming party.. spent ALL DAY (watching/checking outside temp probe every 15 mins) from like 5am till 4pm smoking the brisket (turned out amazing, but damn it was alot of work). I found out about pellet smokers way back then and have kept up with RecTec/traeger/etc (lots of others now) for years waiting to pull the trigger on a new grill. In 2011 my wife started to get really bad reflux with pretty much anything.... so I didn't BBQ as much. Over the years she has got it under control and I couldn't wait till she asked me to start BBQing more. The time finally came.... I can't wait.
