I’ve done 3 or 4 briskets on my Kamado Joe classic 2 but tonight I’ll start my first on the Stampede! I’ll preface with brisket is my least favorite smoked meat. I’ve had Aaron Franklin, John Lewis, and several of my own but I typically would prefer pork and chicken over brisket. However it’s finally getting chilly out and I want some chili so I’ll smoke the brisket and make a brisket meal for the wife and myself and sacrifice the rest for my chili. I’m interested to see how the rec tec compares to the joe as far as moisture and smoke profile. Here are a few pics
