I received my Stampede a little less than a week ago. After the burn in, I ran a whole shank ham, a few pizzas and this morning made hash browns on the griddle.
I upgraded from my first pellet smoker a Traeger Lil Tex. After getting frustrated with the temperature swings and low temp shut downs. I have installed a PID controller into it as well and since then it has worked perfectly.
Christmas Eve, they will be smoking side by side. Tejas brisket, a spiral cut ham, and what ever else will fit.
Looking forward to exchanging experience, recipes, and solutions.
