Stampede Bubbling Paint

I have an RT 590 and noticed after the initial 400 deg. burn in that the paint on the auger box on al three sides of the fire cup had bubbled and flaked off. First is this normal, and then, does it affect function or warranty. Thanks

Mine did the same thing. Don’t want to eat that junk but I don’t think it will effect the overall durability of the grill. Not a problem for me personally.

This is after the initial fire/cure @ 400F. Seems like it might be preferable to not paint it if this is normal...

Mine looks the same way. When I clean out the firepot I throw the ash to the sides.

My paint is all burnt off of my 1250 as well.
