Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.

Just out of curiosity, what is everyone paying for brisket in their area? I'm in Yulee, FL and have been seeing prices stick around 4.50-5.00/lb.

I know demand is driving the prices up, but I wish I could find some consistency in quality. No one in my area offers prime brisket and the choice grade stuff varies widely in quality. Maybe I need to take a trip to Texas!

I live just south of Detroit. Just paid $3.99 per lb. This is from last weekend.

Prime packer here at the local Sam's is $3.58 a pound. Haven't seen anyone locally who consistently beats that price for prime...……...……………...being in Texas don't guarantee a good price, but availability might be another matter. Some local grocery stores will have select grade packer briskets for +/- $2.50

In Middle Tennessee Kroger periodically sells a whole packer at $1.99 per/lb. Needless to say I stock up when that happens. Their normal pricing is $3.99.

I always buy at costco when i see them at 1.99 or 2.49 which happens a couple times a year. Normal price in southern ca is 3.49 i believe.
