Bull Big Pork Butt

Was wondering if I should cut this in half to smoke. New to smoking, just received my 700 last week. This is a 15 pounder.

Sounds to me more like a shoulder "picnic butt" at that size. But either way. Cook it whole. Itll take a while to cooking it but itll be worth it..

One more thing. I suggest butcher tying it as well. It keeps the butt more uniform for even cooking and aid in keeping it from falling apart as it gets more tender. Easier to take off the grates as well... you wont have pork falling all over the place, loosing that precious meat down in the bottom of the barrel
 
I had this same question not to long ago and in the end I agree cook the whole thing.

@padlin00 brings up a good point. It's likely there are two butts in the package.
