This exact same thing happened to me when I did my initial burn in. There was never any food in it so grease can def be ruled out. There was just too much in the hopper and when there was sufficient enough oxygen it blew up. It hasn’t happened since with mine but good luck. That’s scary believ...
It def looks similar. I like the rounded edges even better. Good job. I have a cheap piece of pine on for now which is plenty functional but I’m sure at some point I will be getting a nicer top. I can’t help myself
For the wire rack I used 3/8 5inch carriage bolts and the nuts will be same size. Get 12 nuts and 12 washers. Don’t be afraid to get too big of washers. Also make sure all is stainless. That’s the r only metal safe too cook on.

I agree with above. 225-250 wrap in butcher paper at 165 internal. 205 internal they are done. Let them rest 1-2 hours. They are amazing. Also try and see if butcher at whatever meat place you may shop at can give you the full plate of ribs. I haven’t tried them when they are cut up but I’m...
