Good day everyone!
I live in Charlotte, NC which is about a 2.5 hour drive to RecTeq in GA. I was curious if it would be worth it for me to drive to the showroom and work with a salesperson to save more $$$ on my RecTeq. I was hoping that I could save a little more since the smoker wouldn't...
I love ours. We've had it for a couple of years. Makes a great cup of coffee...initial impression was, I paid how much for this???? It has more plastic than I expected; however, over time you get used to it and enjoy the great coffee it makes. 😊
Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!
I have a RT-340 Trailblazer. It's just a bit too small for me. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while. The Backyard Beast 1000 caught my eye. I've been looking and haven't found any reviews listed on the RecTeq site or any BB 1000 owner reviews here...
I use plastic ones and so far they've lasted a long time. If you get white, they can stain, but I like white so I can visually see where I might need to do a bit more scrubbing.
I guess it must have been a fluke. My lid is greased up from cooks and doesn't has little if any smoke coming out. I don't think too much air coming through the lid is an issue. And my vents are clean too. Weird!
Thank you. Yes, chicken thighs. No charring or fire in the smoke chamber. I walked out side and noticed smoke coming out of the hopper. Thankfully the cook was done so I turned the heat down and then cut it off. From there the pellet chamber was billowing smoke, but no flames.
Is there a...
Hey awesome fellow ReqTeq owners. I've had my grill for a while and everything has ran perfectly. For the first time ever, I'm cooking some thighs at a low heat and then turn the grill up to 350. I go outside and see smoke coming out of the hopper bin. I was able to turn off the grill and...
Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to clean the cover and go from there. It's still in good shape, but that will be best determined after I clean it. 😊
I love the quality and feel of my RecTeq grill cover. Unfortunately, my smoker gets to spend its' days and nights on the back patio to suffer through all the seasons of weather. I've noticed it's become dirty, mostly pollen from the spring, but it's also allowing my grill to get wet. (The...
I have a RT-340 Trailblazer and I love it. It's just me and my wife, but over time I've found a need to cook slightly more volume than the 340 can accommodate. Price is an issue, but not to the point of desperation. I'm a firm believer in saving and buying what you want, within reason. So...
I'm new to the griddle scene. I purchased one a couple of weeks ago and love it. You can't replace the RecTeq for slow cooks and ease; however, the griddle is awesome for cooking breakfast, hibachi type things, and of course burgers. I think two different types of grills is perfect if you can...
Call them. I've had the best results with that. After looking there is one thing that I may have mis read, the "newer" version loses the wifi controller and probes. If solely tailgating, no biggie, but at home, the RecTeq app makes it darn difficult to mess up a cook.
