    I know how you feel. I bought the magnetic hopper shelf (forget the brand) from BBQ guys. Not perfect but better than nothing. You just have to be sure nothing really heavy is placed too far off the edge of the actual hopper. Utensils, spices, a beer, etc can go there while the weighted pans...

    Got a 410 Patio Legend for Christmas and just did my first brisket. It is amazing! I used the tin foil boat method. Smoke to 170 then place it on a large sheet of tin foil and wrinkle up the edges around it like a boat and the finish the smoke until ready (201 for this one). Heffer Dust seasoning.
