Sorry, I'm late to this thread. Question, why are these better than OEM? What's better about them? Thanks in advance, I'm trying to understand.

I had some melting/bubbling on my 1250, where the barrel sits on the base. I sent pictures to Recteq and they told me that's what happens when you turn it to full. I wish I knew that when I bought it as I was surprised. The grill still works and it's cosmetic but they sure didn't seem to care...

I had same issue on Sunday. No temps, alerts or history. I pulled out the Thermoworks Smoke X2 and used instead.
