Does Rec Tec still make the smoker box? i see a lot of people have them or was there a problem with them and they quit making them. i do see most of the accessories they make are out of stock
So after receiving my new controller and installing it there is no change. Up 50 degrees down 30 degrees. Pretty much on phone all afternoon. Get it has to stabilize yep should be good now etc etc etc then up 50 degrees again. Then send us screen shots which I did. They do listen but losing...
Probably the best chicken I ever made. 350 for 1 1/4 hrs then 400 for 15 min. Crispy skin. Used the apple pie rub. Salmon was 200 for 4 hrs. Had some issues with heat so took it off early. Done but a little More moist inside.
Got my 340 today , assembled and did burn in. Used my thermowork smoke to check the readings. Did the 400 for 1 hr then did 300 for 1/2 hr then 225 for 1/2 Hr. All were within 2 degrees as readout on the 340. Coming from a green mountain daniel Boone with swings of 70-80 degrees this is a game...
Just got a call from delivery company.. My 340 has been at the company since Fri night, they say earliest delivery is this Friday..Not a happy camper right now..Does anyone know if they are shipped on pallets or just the boxes
Currently own gmg Daniel Boone This grill has terrible fluctuations with the temp. Set it at 300 to have inside temps at 225. How effectively does the rt340 hold temps it’s set at. Any other info on the Rec Tec would be helpful.
