    I have been using pellet smokers for years but never owned a Rec Teq until about a month ago..very impressed so far and I am blown away by this forum and the amount people that are as crazy about smoking food as I am..looking forward to swapping ideas and knowledge with everyone.

    Thanks for the quick response..now that I think back I did turn it up to 350 after smoking the tri tip to grill some boneless skinless chicken thighs right before I shut it off..in the future I'll turn it down to like 200 for a few minutes before turning it off.
