Can confirm, I also got the lid warp today at around 700 degrees. Makes adding more pellets a bit awkward opening the lid. Looks like it went back when cooled.
If you are wondering, the GMG large pizza oven doesn’t really work on the 1070. The heat stack isn’t long enough. To have the pizza oven resting on the lip of the grill, which is needed to get a pizza in-out, there is about a 3 inch gap between the fire pot and the stack.
I’ve see the other...
Sounds like bridging of the pellets or an auger jam to me. Try using test mode to advance the auger.
Could just be bad luck or the type of pellets you are using.
Pretty consistently I see white smoke coming from my hopper when shutting the grill down. Anyone else seeing this with the 1070? This is with Costco pellets, wondering if that might be a problem?
Great question. We have a paver patio that I like to roll the grill out on when using. The patio is flat, but not exactly perfectly even between bricks.
I’m really more concerned with the cabinet rattling loose over time. The 1070 grill itself seems to be a tank, but the cart could be better...
Wonder how many 1070 owners have a cart vs a built in setup? I have a cart and am interested in potential upgrades to the wheel caster. Thinking something like what the competition cart has.
Can confirm a suspected feed issue with the Kirkland pellets. Not sure exactly what happened but ended up with a fire in the auger and having to empt out the hopper on my 1070. 2/3 cooks have been fine with them.
Wow, as someone that just took delivery of a new 1070 this past week, The lid warping has me worried. I knew I was taking a risk on the new design, but seems like a lot of issues so far.
