Me too! I won my 700 with my Amex card. I placed the order, paid, and a pallet with grill, accessories and pellets suddenly appeared. Absolutely love it.

Wow, it’s just not that hard to figure out, there is an ocean of forum information not to mention a ton of excellent YouTube videos. This guy needs to discover the internet.

I would go with the “Flagship” 700. I was able to assemble mine with only moderate effort. They make it easy. You may think about ordering some pellets too. I also bought the cover. A little tricky to get on, but worth the effort. Good luck with your decision.

I’ll take a roaster and brine it for usually about an hour. Pat Drive cover with olive oil. Preheat the recteq to 250°. I usually use Ben’s heifer dust or Freaking Greek rub. Usually takes an hour and a half or two hours.

Any trick to getting a little crisper skin? I use olive oil, and then whatever spice combination of the day. The meat’s always super moist, but I can’t get a good crisp on the skin.
