While I wait for a callback from support I figured I'd ask here: I have done roughly 10 cooks on a new 1250. As soon as it hits around 620 (when set to full), it immediately starts a steady drop. There is only fan noise, the auger stops and, because of this, I start getting smoke in the hopper...
