    Which one should I buy?

    Stampede FYI: 590 now includes 3rpm motor and cast-iron deflector

    When I got an in-depth tour of the RT facility and bought my 590 in December 2021 I was told the new units would be able to reach 700*. I haven't tested it to confirm, but that's what I was told. If it is capable, then mine has been able to hold temps around 180-200 as well.

    Stampede Looking to purchase an RT-590, question about having it on a balcony

    I have a Genesis right next to my 590 and both are 6-12" away from the fiberboard wall. Granted I'm cooking on a pad next to my garage, but I haven't noticed any smoke marks or heat issues on the wall. The Genesis lid is much larger and when open is much closer to the wall than the 590's, so...

    Bull Smoked chicken thighs

    I smoked some thighs last week and the skin was so thick and rubbery that we all had to remove it and that's my favorite part. Followed Traeger's instructions on my 590. I did get some flare ups, but temp and time weren't too far off. Any clue what went wrong?

    Bullseye Worst pot roast ever!

    I did poor man burnt ends using a 2.5lb chuck roast on my 590 on Saturday. Total time to get where I needed to be was 12 hours! Was expecting more in the 8 hour range! Thankfully no one was waiting on me to provide dinner. Was pretty damn good in the end, but man I didn't expect to pull them...
