I just received my 590, assembled and did my first cook. The vents are now 4 slotted vents that are shaped so that we shouldn’t have any water issues and definitely no pests.

Well, i will be a new owner some time today as delivery appointment is confirmed. I have been smoking on a Weber Smoky Mountain for well over 10 years, but looking forward to more time with family and quests and not tending to the smoker so much.
