It looks good, but I’ve not used mine in over a year. Thinking about taking it off. It’s touted as a cold smoker. But even if you run the main grill on the lowest setting, it’s still too hot to cold smoke with, so for these reasons I use it to set things on while cooking burgers and dogs.

I‘ve had this grill since last June and this was the first time it was in direct sun while cooking, generally I move it so the never used smoker box exhaust is just out of the garage. The grill basically keeps the preset temp.. but this time I decided to roll it out in direct sun, and within 30...
Yeah I found this to be the case as well, I came from exclusively using Weber Smokey Mountain, 22” and 14”. I still do all my heavy smoking on the WSM’s. An use this 700 for burgers, chicken , baked potatoes,, light duty stuff. I’ll admit I like it better than the treagers, pit boss... I’ve...
I’ve had mine since June of last year, mine has always done this, thought about bolting stiffener plates under the bottom, agree with this much money for a pellet pooper, you shouldn’t have to make these kinds of modification.
I’ve had mine since June of this year and I see the same thing on mine as well, I just use a scotch brite pad on it, it stays in a fully enclosed two car garage, never been rained on either, rec tec says these are stainless steel chambers, they must have large quantities of ferrite in the metal...
