Lol! Oh never mind. When I made the font bigger so I can read my text without glasses it knocked the probe temps off of the screen. RecTec can you help us old guys with old eyes? Besides that I love my RT-700.

For some reason the probe temps are not showing on my phone. I deleted the app, restarted my phone and then reinstalled the app. They worked in the past. Any ideas?

Can you imagine the number of RecTec grills that are cooking now? I'll start 1.....

Should I use curing salt with beef jerky? If yes how much and do you alter the recipe?

I have been using the RecTec ultimate blend pellets that came with my RT-700. First off I love this smoker. It's the best I have had. Now all of our meals have been a solid 8 or 9 but I'm looking for that 10. Not sure if I should should do it with seasonings or a pellet change. What do ya'll think?

The ribs where in the 30s to 40 or so degrees and yes they where wet.

Even after watching the videos I cannot for the life of me peal off the membrane from the backside. I just get little pieces and a big mess. Does it make me bad if I smoke them with it on?

Yes the chart in the app on my phone versus the actual reading on the smoker and the actual reading in the app.

1 1/2 hours actual is still showing 250 and chart 178 degrees.

Love my new RT-700. I'm on my second cook and the temperature chart is off. The actual probe is showing 250 degrees and the chart is dropping. The chart is now showing 178 degrees. I don't get it. Any ideas?
