I have one of those hams that is precooked. I have smoked a few of these before and they’re pretty good! But I would like to try to get more of the brine water out first. Any suggestions?

I have a 590 and I just bought a set of grill grates that were on clearance they are 18 inches long. So I am going to cut them off I think to 13 inches so they will fit across the grates and be inside the heat deflector. So about an inch and a quarter clearance across is enough isn’t it?

I found this in my local Sam’s club yesterday for about $14.00. The colander is approximately 11 inches wide, with the handles it is 14 inches wide, about $6:00 at Walmart. It fits just right over a 5 gallon bucket, great for sifting the last of the bag.
