Weekend Update: I should have left a bit of a gap between the shelf and grilling chamber. Found out HDPP is only good to about 215F. After doing some burgers at 420F the edge slightly melted where it was touching. I guess it gives it the 'well loved look'.
Followed some of the others modders on here and added a folding front shelf. Decided to go with 3/4 inch HDPP cutting board in raw meat red. I only used the 10mm leg bolt for the hinge mount as the other holes did not align with a good drilling location (it also keeps it pretty much stock). I...
