"Accessory" grill....hmmmmmmm.
I don't consider any of mine an 'accessory'. Each grill has it's strength and I use each accordingly. And I love each one for what it does best.
1-Stampede
2-Weber Kettle
3-Camp Chef flat top griddle (though i don't use it as much as I thought I would)
I resemble that remark! :ROFLMAO:
The only time I use my smoke tube anymore is when cooking at higher temps, if I want that extra hint of smoke....and that is rare these days.
I had been using the 3-2-1 method, but yesterday I did just that: 225° uncovered until done.

Before I even purchased my 590, I did the same thing; it's right on their website, so it wasn't hard to find.
Saved the .pdf and I knew my grill before it arrived.
I don't know that it can get any simpler than that.
First off, congrats! You're going to love your RT-590.
I bought an after-market rack for my 590 from my local BBQ retail shop for those times when I need the extra room, mostly when I cook ribs. If I remember correctly, it is a Green Mountain collapsible model similar to this one. The ones RT...
I would have done the same thing.
It's like doing your initial setup; the auger needs to be primed again after running out of pellets.
Glad it all worked out.
Here's my .02₵...
Don't buy the Bullseye thinking it's going to be on par with a charcoal grill; you will be disappointed.
I currently own a 590 and a Weber Kettle. For long and slow cooks, you can't beat a pellet grill. For fast and furious, you can't beat charcoal. Most weekends I'll have...
