Hi I used to line the drip pan with foil but it's a pain! I just run a cook and use a plastic putty knife and scrape all the cook grim off of it. It's a smoker it will get dirty......

I went to Thermoworks and bought The Smoke instead of using probes that came with my Bull. Plus there is more probe options for it.

Hello Welcome to the RecTec family. I did the same thing I was thinking about the Stampede then I changed my mind and went with the Bull. It's really nice having the extra space if you need it.

I purchased one from RecTec. I'll be doing some add ons once the weather warms up here. I was just trying to get some ideas. I have some ideas up my sleeve and I'll post pics once I get a chance to work on it.

Well the two probes that came with the Bull one is off by 8 degrees. RecTec did send me two new ones but I really like the quality of the Thermoworks Pro Probes. I'm not bashing RecTec one bit, I just think the probes should be better quality that's all. Sorry forgot to say did ice bath test...

Yes I saw that also I'm just looking to put a retractable cord real under it but was worried about heat build up.

Picked up a Thermoworks Smoke and a MK4 thermapen and pro probes. I don't like the idea of having to only use rectec probes being the controller probe ports will not accept standard meat probe ends. And I believe Rectec only has one stlye probe.

Just curious if anyone has attempted mods to the competition cart for rt700.

I use Cookingpellets.com brand. The perfect mix is a great choice. Also my brother in law is a distributor for cookingpellets.com here in Lewiston NY

Hello I clean my RT 700 Bull after every 4 or 5 cooks. I just refoil drip pan and vacuum out firepot and ash in bottom of smoker.

Hello I ordered mine on Nov 23rd and it shipped Dec 5th. I live in western NY and I received it on Dec 10th after confirming a drop off date with UPS.

All set up, first cook candied bacon!
