Sounds promising. I would say customer service took good care of you considering your unit is out of warranty, you’re not the the original owner and the unit has been physically damaged. Best of luck with your findings and it sounds like you are on the road to recovery.

I use Cookin pellets perfect mix exclusively on my 590. For the sake of entertainment I thought it might be educational to try 100% Oak.

Our local butcher charges $4.99 for freezer beef. Any recommendations here? Is that a good price? Will I use all cuts? They do grass feed all beef on their hundred acres which I’m not knowledgeable about whether that’s a pro or a con . Thoughts?

I’ve owned 4 different RT grills. Only one I changed the min feed rate. It’s not something you should ever need to adjust . Something’s wrong here.

You might consider removing all pellets and replace with one of the recommended brand pellets, see if the problem goes away. Ask around what others use as the minimum feed rate and proceed.

Only need to locate a location that’s has one in stock.

Which brand and variety of pellets have you tried ?

Oak? It seems oak is frowned upon (at least in blends). Any comments on using 100% Oak from bear mountain ? I had used LJ oak some time ago but no longer available.

I owned a 410 for a short while, (one of the first shipped). The Mininum feed rate was at zero. I uninstalled the App and it reinstalled with a minimum of 3.5. I presumed it was an unannounced correction.?.

My opinion, ReqTeq is very high quality The company has always provided me over the top support. I presently own a 590 and I’m quite happy. I’ve been burning “Cookin pellets perfect mix” All good by me!
