    Blackstone

I paid $250 for a Blackstone on clearance. It's a nicer Culinary version with a fully enclosed cabinet and built in hood. The combo unit is interesting but I prefer separate cookers myself.

    Black Friday deals and links

Yep. I have a few different Amazon lists. Lots of them have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday logo next to the price but the price is the same as last week.

    Black Friday deals and links

There are always exceptions but it’s worked well for me. Looks like in this case the last price update was 3 days ago.

    Black Friday deals and links

You only need an account to setup a price watch email notification. You can copy an Amazon url to any product and it will show you the price history. No account required. It’s especially helpful now because Amazon is notorious for showing a “Black Friday deal”. But if you look at the price...

    Prime Day Deal

I've been happy with my Meater Block. The only negative for me is the ambient temp limit. 932F would be nice.

    New grill

Now if it came with a grate you could swap out for direct fire grilling??? I’d consider it. $900 for a griddle is a no go for me.

    New grill

They just added some SmokeStone videos to FB. They cooked slices of bread to show how the heat is even. Unfortunately they flipped the slices in the wrong order…. Having a griddle without zones still makes no sense to me.

    New Recteq Models

In that Friday show they also put a dutch oven in the DualFire, boring. I'd really like to see the direct fire used to grill a steak or something. It's $1,800, lets see some more in depth cooking with it.

    New grill

Will be curious to hear your opinions on the DualFire. Looks to be smaller than the Bullseye but hard to see. Should would like to see a video of it in action. SmokeStone is weird. No zone control doesn’t make sense on a griddle. Would be cool if you could swap the griddle for a large grate.

    New Recteq Models

I watched the burn-in and assembly videos for the SmokeStone and DualFire. Hopefully will see some cooking videos soon. The DualFire has me interested. I wonder if a person could swap the griddle with a grate and have a large direct fire cooking surface on the SmokeStone? The griddle still...

Can I buy the diffuser and add it to any RecTeq to make it a “direct fire” grill? Remove the drip pan?
