Can you wrap the entire smoker, not just the lid?

I have an original 680 that is starting to show her age. The side shelf is rusting a well as the lid and drum. My question is.... Has anyone wrapped their whole smoker? I have seen plenty of lid wraps but never anything else. Or would it be better to sand blast it and repaint it? Please...
