Have my flagship in a screens in porch under a roof . Never have any smoke issues or anything else. I do have a ceiling fan and usually have it on when I’m outside .

Mine hit 740 degrees yesterday as I was making pizza. One of the reasons I purchased. I have flagship 1100. The black paint is melting though when I cook this high.

That’s what I thought too, but this was not there the other day, and it’s like deep almost like a large scratch. Very odd. Smoker is in a corner screened and covered . No sharp items around, and it’s rusted heavily
