Don’t know of any podcasts. I’m new to smoking and my go to is YouTube. So many really good methods and recipes. I have 5 or so folks that I frequent. Or just do a web search. Recteq has a bunch.
First attempt at jerky. At First most family who tried it thought it was too thick and chewy. Probably because they were used to store-bought. Once they had a few more pieces they couldn’t stop eating.
Just my third smoke and first pork butt. Added a side of smoked baked beans concoction topped with bacon. Pulled pork was amazingly tender and flavorful. Gonna add more jalapeños to the beans next time.
Just had my RT 590 for a few weeks, retiring tomorrow (y)First smoke was chicken thighs and smoked mac n cheese, second was beer can chicken and Easter is going to be my first pork butt. Thinking about smoking at 225 all day Saturday, shred and crock pot to transport on Sunday and keep moist.
