What’s the difference between the app minimum feed rate and the setting on the controller?

So I have another grill that is a little bigger than the 700. I slapped in a recteq controller and now it has the savannah sticker 2.5rmp auger motor in it. It got hotter than it ever really has but still took a long time to get there. Does changing the model on the app make any difference in that?
