I dont know about them checking this forum, but he did say he listened to the calls with customer support and didn't like what he was hearing from their end. I really do think this unit was defective.
Well a CS manager called back after It was set up for a refund. They are going to send out a new grill and im going to send this one back. Hoping this one works out.
No idea yet, this may have killed pellet smokers for me lol. I bought this to replace my aging akorn charcoal smoker and I may just buy a new one of those.
Thanks for the link sadly I don't have an angle grinder. I did try chucking my drill to it but the bit of auger sticking out isn't long enough for the drill to catch on it.
This is where I'm at right now and cannot get the auger to budge. Anything that I can fit where the cottor pin was to try and rotate the auger just bends (allen wrentch, nail ect) The rep said the next step is using two hammers to break it free, think I'm going to take a break from it today...

I have given this unit a chance I've cooked 6 times on it from...
It rained 2 days ago and it was covered. The thing is only 2 weeks old and the auger is jammed, has anyone else had this problem?
Recteq tried to make it seem like this was common but I've never heard anyone that I know have this problem with a pellet smoker. I'm thinking it must be...
