The Sear Daddy might interest you. I got one and really like it. There are three zones. Off to the side the temp is the set temp. I put a foil pan under that side for drips.
Mine is on my uncovered deck. Had it covered between uses with the RT cover up until a few weeks ago, then stopped covering it. I’ll probably start covering again at some point maybe. It’s sometimes unpredictable when I want to fire it up and don’t want the cover forcing my decision not to use it.
I did a cowboy ribeye and baked potatoes at the same temps for the same times. Wrapped the potatoes in foil just before turning it up to full. Took the steak off while temp was rising. Seared the steak and pulled it all off at the same time.
