I had my rt 700 set to full cooking some steaks and it was hitting temps of 570 turn it down to 480 and opened the lid to turn my steaks and add more steaks temp came down to 495 then started climbing back up and would not come down to 480

My Weber does not the rt700 I wanted this grill so bad and now I think what did I get my self into

It worked great the first two cooks then this happens when I first got it I use Traeger pellets and it wouldn’t get to 500 called recteq and was told not to use them . I have bear mountain pellets now I have a Traeger and a Webber smoke fire it holds temperature better if you don’t open the lid...

Had the grill two weeks auger is at 3.0

The auger is at 3.0 it would not come down had the grill two weeks not happy
