I have had the RT700 since T-Day of last year. I bought the RecTeq cover for it and wired an outlet on the deck next to it. The outlet has a hinged exterior cover for the plug. I have left pellets in the hopper for the last year with no problems. Some stretches were 3 months between cooks.
