I'm new at using my RecTec 700. When cooking meat or chicken, I can't get a good char on the meat. My wife thinks we need to buy another grill that has a griddle. Does anyone know how to get a good sear or char on meat or chicken with the RecTec?

We just bought a new RT-700 and really enjoy it. However, after connecting it to the Recteq app I notice I get an error when I go to Control and press the plus button. It immediately shows the error "dps data type error" and the red circle says, "XTREME SMOKE LOW Set Point." From a different...
