Ok i tried all that…275 for 1 hr 45” until 160 on recteq 1250. Pulled and wrapped in paper with butter until 190. Them pulled, cubed, sauced and honey and put in foil tray for another 30”. Tough, tough….can’t believe it came out so tough. What did I do wrong?

I have a 1250 and have never installed the cover until now. I just noticed the package the cover came in said 700. Will the 700 cover fit the 1250?

Tried foil several times on my 1250. Found a better alternative at Home Depot. They sell a Traegor decent heavy duty foil tray of different dimensions. One size fits perfectly on the 1250. They sell them 5 to a pack in the grill section.

I foil. Only takes a minute to foil the 1250 and I don’t want to risk a grease fire if I am sitting in the house.
