Had the same issue with my stampede. I called rec Tec and they sent me some high temp sealant. Never got around to putting it on and the issue seemed to go away after a cleaning I had done on the grill. I went ahead and resealed it when I had time and the issue hasn’t returned.

Is there a way to save the temperature chart to your phone?

Nice work man! Only drawback to the screen pointing up like that would be the exposure to the sun. In my experience those go out a lot quicker than screens that don’t face the sun.

Not Mike but in my experience dealing with temp controllers it is possible to be off differently from the cold end to the hot end. Usually this is compensated by using a custom plotted calibration curve. On to your other point, yes I believe it would be better testing the upper end since I won’t...
