Just making sure. When you all talk about extreme smoke is that just low or is there an actual setting to get extra smoke? (700 owner)
 
The Extreme Smoke mode isn't great for all types of cooks, Beef, Pork seem to do ok but I wouldn't recommend it for poultry or fish.

With the current controller, yes it is just "LO".

On an older controller there was an Xtreme smoke mode that worked at up to 250 degrees. I think that's what confuses people sometimes.

I use LO on most cooks for 30-60 minutes before going up to cooking temp.
