Something I found interesting.
Did a pizza over the weekend on my 340. It was windy and the temps in the 40's, the grill was struggling to get over 375 which was set to max. I thought of the welders thick felt blanket I picked up for winter use, went out and put it on holding it in place with 1/2 a dozen of the strong fishing magnets. It quickly got up to about 550 so the blanket worked as intended, what I didn't expect was to find all the magnets sitting on the ground. Tried putting them back in place but they wouldn't stick.
Just got around to doing a search on the internet of magnets and high heat. Seems magnets starts to diminish at 170F, and can be completely demagnetized at 570F. Just checked the ones I have and while they stick to each other they will not stick to anything else. Time to order a new set.
Pizza came out great.
