Stampede This weekend smoke

Smoke my first brisket this past weekend. Also did some wings ,Pop’s and potatoes skins. Did think the brisket turn out good . Had to go out and when l got back half of it was gone . So it must have been good. Smoke the wings ,Pop’s and potato skins was done in the rain. So it was a great weekend. Good good and the Raiders are going to the playoffs.

Dang what a spread! great looking meal. if you have any brisket leftovers i love to butter up two tortillas and make quesadillas! i lay them right on the grate at 250-275 to give just a hint of smoke on the tortillas and pull them when the cheese is melted. its killer! nice cooking

Looks great especially for your first one. I’m going to smoke a pork butt tomorrow and then my next cook will be my first brisket. I’ve got ribs, chicken, meatloaf, stuffed bell peppers, and the like down pat. Now I need to get a great brisket under my belt. It’s a expensive cut so I wanted to build up to it and make sure I get it right. I’m going to get a prime or choice grade so that should help. Y’all wish me luck!
