Agree the deals are out there for the MK4 and the glow in the dark slip on magnetic cover is the best.

Just got the thermopop. Even at $30 it was big upgrade over my old digital thermometer. Now I need one of their Bluetooth bbq alarms.

I cheaper alternative is the Lavatools Javelin which I currently use. But I am about to replace it myself with a Thermapen MK4 very soon.

I bought the classic a few years back. My wife was a little irritated that I spent so much on a thermo until she used it.

She loves it because of the fast reading prevents her arm from getting burned or over heated while checking the temp
