Temp Probe Issues

One of my temperature probe inputs on my RT 700 is suddenly giving very erratic readings. Any of my probes I plug into this port will read crazy high temps. For quicker cooks (e.g., chicken) it becomes useless as the readings are 50 or more degrees high. On a longer cook (e.g., pork butt) as the cook progresses it seems to eventually read accurately, but it ,may take several hours. Any ideas? It does this with any of my probes, so I think its in the electronics of the grill.

Any chance the small nut on the controller port is loose? That happened to a couple of us. A quick hand tightening took care of mine.
I checked that but it’s been a while - I’ll take another look - thanks!

I had the same problem this weekend , both nuts were loose , tightened them up , we shall see on the next long cook ..... hopefully all is good

I hate it when that happens.
