The ABT’s were a huge success. I’ll probably try pepper jack cheese next time, did Monterey Jack this time. I did 1-hour at 250F to get some good smoke flavor then cranked up to 350F for 30 min. Thanks for the help again!

...I then pulled my half and tossed them in Frank’s Hot Wing Sauce, then back on with the wife’s share for another 20 minutes. Amazing. Go Bengals.
My kid makes the best wing sauce I've had. Cup of regular Frank's, half cup white vinegar, half stick of butter, some minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce.
 
Old thread, but i was going to ask for suggestions for horse de ovaries for superbowl, so figured might as well tag onto here....

Im doing the standard bacon wrapped stuffed jalepano and wings....

Hoping to try some of both of these....



Any other suggestions welcomed....

What temp/time do you guys recommend cooking these ABT’s? I’m using thick cut bacon and from what I’ve seen people cook them anywhere between 225F and 275F. Being my first time I don’t want to screw these up for my guests. Thanks in advance!
I’ve cooked a lot of ABT’s and have found that thin sliced bacon works much better than thick sliced. It cooks faster and crisps up better.
 
What is this “Super Bowl” you speak of? Is that a really big bowl of nachos or something? I’m from the Pacific Northwest and don’t recall hearing anything about a “Super Bowl,” at least lately. 🤣
 
On the ABT's, just make sure you don't go to hot on temp, your filling may melt out, or even bacon drippings cause a flair up and lose some.
